Episode 5 of That’s Different is with the incredible Lindsey Kaalberg.

Lindsey is the CEO of Ritual Hot Yoga, a series of luxury yoga studios in San Francisco and Chicago, with a unique offering. When you walk into Ritual, it feels like home, it’s all-inclusive and the classes themselves are set in a heated, candlelit room, with pumping music. It’s a mix of soul-searching meditations, vulnerability, challenging flows, and nourishing moments of massage and eucalyptus towels.

I’m personally a huge fan, and have been since their early pop-up days. But the real reason that I wanted to talk to Lindsey about her journey creating Ritual, isn’t just the incredible experience she creates for her clients, but what happens behind the scenes.

Ritual employees are salaried, with full benefits. They are given free reign to own not only their classes but other parts of the business that they would like to explore, in order to grow as professionals. All of which is unheard of in the world of fitness studios.

We talk about all of this and more in this episode.
